About Nate Sayatovich

Nate Sayatovich (1st Year MFA Directing Candidate) Nate is a director and educator from Ohio, now based in New York City. From 2014-2018 he helped produce and facilitate the community engagement and education programming at Cleveland Play House. While in Cleveland Nate also worked with Dobama Theatre, the Cleveland Play House Theatre Academy, and the MFA acting program at Case Western Reserve University. Nate also served as associate artistic director of Medina Youth Theatre and was co-founder and former artistic director of Ohio Youth Ensemble Stage.
In New York, Nate has worked with Inside Broadway, Stagedoor Manor, Gallery Players, United Solo Fest at Theatre Row, Players Theatre, and most recently AhHa Broadway at the Actors Temple Theatre. During the pandemic Nate spent almost 2 years on the road as the COVID Compliance Manager on the first national tour of Hadestown. He has presented at the American Alliance for Theatre and Educations national conference and guest lectured on directing at Baruch College. Nate holds a B.S. in Theatre Education from Ashland University.
